Every year Lagan offers a number of first class placement opportunities for suitably qualified candidates in Belfast. Students have the opportunity to develop and enhance business and specialist skills, while working with experienced teams within Lagan on a wide range of challenging projects, many of them related directly to solutions being delivered to customers and partners in the UK and North America.

I have really enjoyed my placement year working as part of the Human Resources team in Lagan. Placement enabled me to apply my studies to working life and also helped me to better understand the HRM element of my course. Also, working within such a large and developing company has given me exposure into Human Resources in different countries, such as North America. During my placement with Lagan I have learnt many new skills which will aid me in my studies in final year at University and also in my future career. I am very excited that I will be continuing to work for Lagan part time while completing my final year in University and I would definitely recommend Lagan for an excellent placement.

My placement year in Lagan’s finance department has been a hugely enjoyable experience and one I would strongly recommend. Throughout my time here I have been made to feel very welcome and have undertaken various tasks within the finance department. I have had a very enjoyable experience throughout my placement at Lagan Technologies. I had the opportunity to work alongside the company accountants, which gave me a great insight into all areas of the finance department. I was able to see how my studies relate to the daily tasks conducted both on a small and large scale and was made to feel a valued member of the team. I feel very fortunate to have carried out my placement year in Lagan and will be returning to work on a part time basis during my final year of study.
