Title: Support Voluntary Placement

Reports to:
Job Purpose: The student will gain experience of working in a busy Customer Support department.  The team provides a professional service of application support to our worldwide customer base. 
Key Responsibilities:

The student can expect to gain an insight to and experience of the following areas;

  • Troubleshooting help and first call resolution for Lagan Application Suite.
  • Maintaining and Enhancing the Customer Self Service Portal
  • Providing 1st class customer service to our worldwide customer base
  • Contribute to the development of Knowledge Base
  • Installing and Upgrading Lagan Applications
  • Other customer support duties and projects as applicable.
The Person:

  • Currently studying for an IT or Computer related degree

The company is located at 209 Airport Road West, Belfast, BT3 9EZ. 

Duration and Salary:

We appreciate that as this is an unpaid opportunity students may not be able to afford to work full time therefore this opportunity is available as a three, four or five day working week.  We can be flexible in the hours and days of working.  This placement is expected to last no longer than four months.  Please note you must be available to join the team no later than June 2010.
