MFAC Excellence in Public Management Award
The City of San Francisco, a Lagan customer, was named the winner of the 2007 Excellence in Public Management Award, given by The Municipal Fiscal Advisory Committee (MFAC). The (MFAC) event has evolved and grown over the last 27 years, but its purpose remains the same: to recognise and acknowledge exemplary job performance and leadership by San Francisco city employees.
Deloitte Fast 50
Lagan was named number 15 in the 2007 Deloitte Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Ireland. Rankings are based on average percentage revenue growth over five years. The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is an award program honoring business growth, technological innovation and UK entrepreneurial spirit. These Awards have become the benchmark to identify the UK’s fastest-growing high-technology companies through an objective ranking based on sustained revenue growth over the past five years. Lagan has featured in the Deloitte Fast 50 eight times.
Best Fit Integrator by Center for Digital Government
The Center for Digital Government (CDG) has honored Lagan with its Best Fit Integrator Recognition Award for 2007. Lagan was recognized in the category 'Reinvention in Local Government Service Delivery' for its work with the City of Hampton, VA. First held in 2007, the (CDG) Best Fit Integrator award invites public sector IT entities from across the nation to nominate technology integrators who have partnered with them on exceptional projects.
IT Personality of the Year Award - GoldenEYET
Goldeneye has developed to become the only major technology industry-related awards serving Northern Ireland. Lagan CEO, Des Speed, was named winner of this award in 2007. The IT Personality of the Year Award is presented to the person who, in the opinion of the award judges, has made the most significant and lasting contribution to the advancement of a technology agenda in business and the public sector over the past year. Lagan was also "Highly Commended" for the International Business IT Award in the same year.
Belfast Telegraph NI Business Awards - Excellence in Service to Business
Lagan was "Highly Commended" for the Excellence in Service to Business Award. The Belfast Telegraph Northern Ireland Business Awards recognize and reward businesses in each of nine categories, with an overall award for Belfast Telegraph Northern Ireland Business of the Year.
Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100
The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 ranks Britain's fastest-growing private tech companies based on sales growth over the previous four years. Since 2000 when the Tech Track was launched, Lagan has been featured five times as one of the UK's fastest growing technology companies.
Good Communications Award - Call Center of the Year
The Good Communication Awards aim to promote and encourage the public sector’s efforts towards effective communication with its citizens and its workforce. agan customer, Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, scooped top honors for its call center in the 2005 Good Communications Awards after implementing Lagan’s CRM system.
E-Government National Awards
The Publichtechnology.net e-Government National Awards recognize and praise the best in public sector ICT & e-Government - across local/central government, non-departmental public bodies, non-governmental organizations and other deliverers of e-government services. Lagan customer, West Sussex Accessible Services Partnership, was named winner in E-Government National Awards 2006.
BCS IT Professional Awards - Business Achievement Awards
The British Computer Society (BCS) Business Achievement Awards (part of the BCS IT Professional awards) rigorously assess entrants in three key areas: measurable results in terms of improved business performance; effective relationships between all of the main parties involved; and successful implementation and operational management. Lagan customer, Newcastle City Council, won for outstanding customer service achievement through innovative use of IT.
